AUGUST 28,2002 - 10 YEARS GONE

My bestest buddy, Gone Too Soon..
I dream of you so much it's like you're still alive
Space inside....partly died-left on the road with you
 My buddy...my music man
So much I had left to teach you, and share
 And learn from you.....
What a man you would have been !!!
 I miss you, my Angel.....Dad

             FATHER'S DAY-2000

I used to be a father and now I'm not
They tell me I still am,but it  hurts alot
There's no way to pretend that it's ok now
People tell me it is ,but I wonder how
A walk to the stone can't match a hug
I just walk away with a useless shrug
When you spend your holidays at a grave
You wish a better memory you could save
The music and the ballgames are fading away
I just wish to be over Father's Day.......

Oh,c'mon now don't make it hard on the rest
Just hold your cards close to your chest
A man is a man who feels pain and joy
Am I supposed to forget that I lost my boy?
So mommies and daddies enjoy every minute
Delight in this life and all that comes with it
It won't happen to you, that's what we're told
For you,be happy and with them grow old

But every dawn as the world gets lighter
Pick them up and kiss them and hold them tighter
Remember every moment till you're old and gray
And always enjoy Father's Day

May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.
May you always be courageous,
Stand upright and be strong,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
May you stay forever young,
Forever young, forever young,
May you stay forever young.
